This is an excellent article on the ills of sugar . I heard just a few weeks ago that over 70,000 foot or leg amputations are performed every year in America because of Diabetes - 70,000! And right now, today, over 1/3 of Americans have or will soon be diagnosed to have Diabetes. This isn't Type 1 Diabetes (hereditary), it is Type 2 (lifestyle). Why such an increase? It is argued, because the average American consumes 40 POUNDS more sugar each year than our grandparents did.
Sugar is an industry, just like fluoride, tobacco, and pharmaceuticals - it is pushed on us, despite the ill effects. Interesting that the very powers that have worked vigilantly to reduce the health of our society are now working to enslave us to their healthcare system. Does anyone else out there smell something very, very rotten in Denmark? (no offense Lars....)
