Providence is a fickle woman. She does not search for you; she finds you. If you hide from yourself or from the world, she will not seek you to bestow her blessings upon you. She will pass even as the wind blows the leaves of the trees; leaving her scented perfume in the air with the knowledge that she has passed you by. Yet nor will she meet you when you go to seek her. Don’t live in tomorrow trying to re-create reality; or in yesterday regretting reality. Live in today, acknowledging, accepting, and remaking reality if you so wish.
Opportunities are like buses, one comes every few minutes. You chose whether to take one or let it go. Too often we are either looking the wrong way or spend so long wondering if it is the right one, we miss it all together.
Accept what you cannot change. Change what you cannot accept.
Purpose feeds the soul. Joy feeds the spirit. The good life is when both are fed.
