Thankfully dropped? The beauty of the American theme park thankfully dropped? Just what every East European country needs to get it's purse going. Who says it has to be tacky? Look at Colonial Williamsburg and Epcot Center, both of these parks provide rich historical and cultural information. They are in part supported by the theme park atmosphere of Busch Gardens and Disney but something similar could work without the traditional rollercoaster spine supporting the historical park. A historical reenactment similar to Colonial Williamsburg could provide much to the area and to those who choose to visit. Of course the traditional theme park could add just as much - only on a totally different level. The picture of screaming teens speeding down a twisting turning rollercoaster, through a pitch black tunnel where images of Dracula with neon red fangs flash has it's own appeal.
