LOL- our friend Zlaja. He was the border guard coming into Bosnia. We asked for stamps on our passport. He said, "Only if you give me a ride to Mostar." We thought he was joking, he wasn't! What a super nice guy. He even let me play with his gun ;-) He really was a doll...
Trigger happy at Mostar - this is a beautiful little town. If you ever go near Bosnia, do not leave the country without seeing this little gem.

This Gypsy boy was great. I generally don't give them money but something about him made me hand him a coin when we bought our tickets to the tram. We were halfway in to town before we saw him free-riding the back of the tram and waving at all the people we passed. He was having such fun. Great alive eyes... He hopped off a couple stops before town and started working the cars at an intersection. I would have loved to talk to him about his life...
