It is an area preserved supposedly as it was in Roman days. The water is the clearest, purest water I have ever seen in my life. It is off the beaten track but well worth seeing. It is astounding to imagine how beautiful our world was before we starting polluting and destroying it.

View from Tempietto sul Clittuno - a cool little paleo-Christian church. A thunderstorm came through while we were there and Daniele and I had the place to ourselves. With the rain filling the sky, you could almost imagine how it was 2,000 years ago.
